When the server was infected I as not able to open google and windows updates (among other things). I have since been able to run all of the latest windows updates successfully and am able to bring up websites again. My issue is that google.com comes up half the time and the other half says it can't connect. I immediately bring up any other website and THAT website comes up. Switching back to google.com I get the same can't connect message. When I click run the windows troubleshooter it says it didn't detect any problems but then google.com comes up again for a little while. I suspect there is something still interfering with my connection to google. What can I do see if anything is actually interfering with my connection to google.com? Everything appears to be normal except for this. EDIT: I am not asking how to deal with a compromised server. I am asking: What can I do to see if anything is actually interfering with my connection to google.com?
